These types of lights are called flood lights, these light up a wide area field of view instead of throws which light up a focused area with a bright laser-like light beam.
As a first responder that works night these types of flashlights are amazing. I can use this to light up a dimly lit room by placing this on a table and making my own light. I can use this to gain access to an address while being very visible. These types of flashlights also acts as a non-lethal deterrent if necessary
As for duration of use, that depends on how you use it as there are different brightness modes and automatic temperature regulators that will automatically decrease output to protect the flashlight once it reaches a specified temp of 40 (or 45) degrees C to protect the LED for long term use.
The point is, this is an advanced and amazing flashlight for the price with its own flashlight Anduril 2.0 UI and if you haven't bought a flashlight in the last decade this is a pretty good one to start but this is definitely not an edc light

The q8 plus is bigger and brighter. It uses 4 larger batteries, but that really does not matter if you just charge it using usb c. It is preference and what you want to use it for, since one is heavier and bigger, which is a bit harder to hold for longer. Assuming cost is not a concern here.
I have over 300 AliExpress transactions. Only two never arrived (and I was refunded).
