Can anyone who got this post or send me a picture of the device manager? Particularly the usb controller. I plugged in a cenmate usb DAS into mine and it's acting weird. I'm hoping it's not because I installed a fresh copy of windows, because I had trouble with drivers afterwards.

Did you have windows update the drivers? Advanced Update/Optional Updates.

Plan B for me is Snappy Drivers but I rarely need them but they saved me before.

Windows update got most of them, but I had to use a wifi driver I found on reddit and ended up getting another through the windows update catalog by searching for the device id. It worked pretty good for a little bit, but then wifi kept dropping out. Then USB connections would get flakey, but that was probably more the enclosure I got. I packed it up today and returned it. Also the manufacturer has drivers but they're in a shared Google drive folder with a batch file, and even as sketchy as that seemed to me I tried them and I couldn't get them to install. Maybe something else will come up around prime day.

There will be other deals. I am waiting for a Mini PC that is cheap, has HDMI 2.1, and 2.5gb ethernet, before I upgrade from the 3 mini's I have. I recently put Windows 11 IoT on all 3 of them with no driver issues, although I did extract the drivers on one of the machines beforehand, due to an issue finding an audio driver previously. Made for a very smooth install.

Hmm, trying to build a cheap K3s cluster, wish this didn't come with windows(assumption being the price is baked into the product). Is this worth it?

Anyone know how well this would work as a Jellyfin server, ie transcoding? Would this be able to handle 4k streaming? Multiple concurrent 1080p? Thanks
I got Kodi on mine and it does way better than the laptop I had with the ddr3. I need to point out I got the ddr5 version and had to run a nightly build because the LebreELEC stable wasn't compatible with the n150. I like what I got, but looking for a couple more.

People willing to pay $100 to upgrade the RAM on this N150 to get negligible benefits instead of buying the same form factor AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 5875U for about the same difference which has 3 x the processing power.

Do you have any stats on the power draw for that setup?

A OEM Home license sold to a Chinese vendors are likely only a few bucks in additional cost.

That is my concern when dealing with these types of systems. Also aware that there are processes that can be injected into the running system at the bios level typically for asset protection and management but that was probably pre UEFI. But a little bit of research indicates there are ways around even secure boot. Do a quick Google for BlackLotus bootkit
It's amazing how people just don't care that the state funded enemy government is spying on them all the time.
