I no longer consider GE after being burned by a crap washer/dryer gas combo unit that lasted just 4 years (replaced by a Speed Queen combo that is now 7 years old; sometimes the extra cost is worth it) and a microwave that was used daily but the inside coating started to peel after less than two years. Also, at 52 db, this will be loud and without further checking seems overpriced at list.

I have this and it looks nice but in 5 years I've replaced part after part to keep it going... top control plastic TWICE (and a pain to do it, and the one on there right now is cracked), discharge pump, diverter valve, door seals.... and I'm not the only one with these common issues. Thank goodness multiple the water leaks didn't destroy my kitchen floors. I bought a water leak alarm because it was getting so ridiculous.
