Other things to note, if you don't pay for any of the Best Buy memberships, you only get 15 days to return it. And Asus will only give you 90 days of support (or perhaps less) since it's an open-box item. One that I purchased was already registered (and Asus automatically directs you to contact Best Buy about any support), and the other one said the warranty had expired in March when I registered it. Ended up returning both because it really wasn't worth risking it, and I didn't want to pay for the Geek Squad warranty either.

Over the past few years, I've ordered around 10 open-box items, and all of them have been in great shape with no issues whatsoever.
In the end, it really comes down to whether the discount is worth the potential risk for you.
