Gonna assume that was facetious since they've always been political. Lol
American Idiot is literally about George W. Bush.
I saw Green Day in concert on Halloween night at the San Diego Sports Arena back in 1994. Good times.

Cheapest seats are only $523. Wonder why it has not sold out?
Says $300 on my end. You know anyone can go to their site and see for them self right? There is no reason to make stuff up.

Tix.axs.com is the site the venue takes me to. Cheapest seat is $523.

it you are on a different site then the tickets are resale, which means the concert sold out already.

I understand you like Green Day, as do I but PLEASE do not make things up and lie to the people. They are playing this Sept in California with tickets still available. Their capacity at the venue is 3000 max. It will closer to 2500 for this show.
I actually don't like Green Day that much. I was into hard core punk from the 80's and 90's, and they were the poppy, mainstream "sellouts" back in the day that all the established punk scene hated. You've been tearing it up to Black Flag and Bad Brains for years, then all these teeny bopper, glee club kids started showing up in Green Day t-shirts all the sudden.

But, personal opinions aside, they played to a crowd of over 130K at the Milton Keynes National Bowl in England: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bullet_in_a_Bible

The last Super Bowl had an attendance of 65K: https://www.statista.com/statisti...ttendance/

The math ain't that hard here.

And last time they played my city a couple years ago, they sold out our MLB stadium, Truist Park, well over 30,000 people. So if they're playing at the venue with a 3K max, it's because they want to play there, not because they can't sell out bigger venues.

It's still not sold out. And it's not a stadium. The comment was they still sell out stadiums.

The comment was it has 3000 seats and they will not sell over 2500. Why do you think it is not sold out when all the tickets for sale are resale?

Had this CD in my vehicle and listened to it on the way to work and the way home for almost a year. Incredible album. I've been in the pit at DK, Black Flag, Agnostic Front, Minor Threat, Agent Orange, The Clash and I saw Nirvana play in a 60 seat bar on a Tuesday night. Stiv Bator bled on me. I've been around the block and when I hear people use the phrase 'sell out' I cringe. Green Day still hates fascists and Nazi punks can still F off.

Did people really get butthurt because someone said Green Day sells more tickets than the super bowl? 😂

(As per this comment) the more accurate comment is Green Day can sell out concerts x2 size of the super bowl. Not "still sells out" that much.

Politics aside, this looks like a great deal for collectors.

Genuine question, why is this split into so many records? Pretty sure they'd be able to fit more tracks onto each.

Man you have some imagination. "Sell out crowds twice the size of super bowls"? What does that even mean? The super bowl is played in a football stadium. The crowd is literally limited by the stadium size. Tens of millions of people watch it. If there was a stadium that held 500k people it would sell out for the Super Bowl. What makes this even more asinine a claim is the fact that the literal record concert attendance for any concert held in the United States was 110,905 which still isn't twice the size of an NFL football stadium and it wasn't Green Day who set that record.

What a weirdo hill to die on.

What are you talking about? That was not my post.
