I bought a house that has this fridge. I know there are a lot of Samsung issues, but I actually really like this fridge. The water pitcher was a game changer.
Slick dealers don't let other slick dealers buy Samsung appliances!
The Samsung fridges that are problematic are the ones that have the ice makers on the doors wherin the icemaker is inside the refrigerator side. This one has the icemaker at the right location, which at the bottom freezer. Never buy any fridge that's has icemaker dispensers on the doors, the ice constantly gets stuck. I heard Frigidaires are the only ones that don't suck in this category.

I agree....I use that alone about 3 times a day. Makes.coffee a breeze.

Having a filtered water pitcher is totally next level.

There isn't a reliable appliance maker left out there.. Big Grin Buy, enjoy, throw away after 8-10 years and buy another.

Samsung has a bad reputation for fridges, and rightfully so, but most people seem to agree that the bespoke line fixed a lot of them (such as the ice maker). They still aren't perfect, no reasonably priced fridges are these days, but they shouldn't be hard avoided.

I've had this fridge for about 8 months. The fam loves the beverage center pitcher idea, and we've gotten used the getting ice from the bottom freezer as opposed to doing it through the door dispenser as in our previous fridge, also a Samsung. If this "inconvenience" saves us from the issues from previous models that had the ice maker on the door, then we don't mind. So far no issues whatsoever and everyone is happy.

BTW, paid $1,230 for the stainless steel version through the EDU program. Prices have surely gone up since then.

Samsung doesn't even last 3 years. Just after 1 year they will have some kind of issues.

My Samsung fridge worked fine for years, my dishwasher on the other hand died after 3 years.

Negative Nelly. The new bespoke line reengineered the freezer issue. One year owner now and running fine. My biggest gripe is I all open te wrong door.

Can you explain more? What do you mean by keep closing? Like you open it and it closes on its own?

correct, left door won't stay open, you have to hold it, and samsung knows about it and nothing they can do.
