If you have the ability, purchase separate batteries and connect it to the Delta 2 Max over the T60i ports to o-ring. What this is... $325 per kWh in a proprietary form factor with a 5 year warranty (big one being free shipping). It may be worthwhile if you actually use the Delta 2 Max and cycle it enough, but if it just for standby, then you might get better usage out of sub $200 per kWh batteries that are not proprietary.
Also, if I recall correctly, the Delta 2 Max has to charge these batteries or the Ecoflow Smart Generator. Yikes.

As an alternative, just buy a PECRON E2000LFP. Currently on sale for $649. Cost less per a unit and gets you that 2kWh and you obtain two more FULLY capable units.

Correct. it's a deal for EF owners and compared to the market price of THESE and not compared to anything else.

You could say ALL all-in-one power stations are a bad deal compared to building your own DIY. Not really relevant when comparing THIS price to the market of THIS item in my opinion.
Also sure there are other brand power stations! Do they have the same features, refined APP, product support and user base?
All I'm getting at is there are 10 ways to skin a cat, multitude of different car brands, they all do the same thing, I don't see the point to comparing a closed system proprietary brand items to outside. It is what it is.
Essentially when a price is ALL TIME LOW for a specific exact product, that's all I'm comparing it to.
IF you don't have Ecoflow power station to use this with, why would anyone even consider buying this? They wouldn't!

Directly you can only connect external LFP batteries to solar input on EF power station, which is fine but eliminates ability to directly input solar simultaneously into the ecoflow unit if there is only one solar input. Delta 2 max has two solar inputs 500w input each port, so you could connect one external LFP battery and one solar panel or array at same time. Another benefit of EF extra batteries is the they use the Xt150 Extra battery port freeing up solar inputs.
