No, it won't shred the beak, don't even try. The feathers shred nicely though.

I got one of these for Christmas but it sits on the counter instead of being handled. I thought it was gonna be a silly pointless uni-tasker kitchen gadget but it works surprisingly well. All it takes is a 180° turn and your meat is shredded. Way quicker and more consistent than shredding with forks.
