I'm in the market for an electric brush, but I don't know much about them. This one is within my budget. Is this a slick deal?

I would say that this is a pretty good deal. This brush is commonly over $100, even on sale (it's ~$118 at Target right now). I had a 6000 series for almost a decade and loved it. After the vibrating mechanism that holds the brush started to get loose, I upgraded to a 9300. Honestly, the 9300 is more-or-less the same brush as the 6000 series, just with more features (that I don't use).

Price is ok, but you may not necessary need the extra features compares to the lower tier models

No reason to get this over the knock-off ones. They're exactly the same internals.

Costco or Sam's Club usually has this 2-pack on sale for $129, so it's slick if you buy a single one right?

Found it. https://www.costco.com/philips-so...04684.html These Costco units are model HX6829/70, with only 2 mode - Clean, White. They don't have the Gum Care mode. I am keen on the Gum Care mode for my nephew's still developing gum.
