The reviews say it's particle board. I think OP's note is incorrect.

No the ai just made a mistake as usual. You can tell it's not metal just by looking at how thick the pieces are.

Sucks that it's rare to find shoe racks or cabinets even, that have enough depth to store size 13 sneakers/shoes.

Yep, I agree since my size is 13, but I got this to my wife and the boys. Not expecting great quality but the price is okay

just put ours together. there are no back legs and you need to nail the unit to a back wall. It's pretty huge.

Just got mine, luckily the hardware box was on top because opening it discovered not even the moving shelf hardware is metal but instead extremely cheap flimsy plastic, like easily bendable, not firm at all. Seriously have seen more sturdy plastic in packing material of other products, that's how low quality it is. This thing will not last a year if you open and close the draws often. Immediately started a return, won't be worth the time putting it together. So no this is not metal, wood and very cheap plastic .
