Best sub under $400. I got 2x RP-1400SW for $1400, but if my budget was $700 I would get 2 of these 10s over 1 14.

2 smaller subs > 1 larger sub.

Or, you know, Klipsch actually listened, improved their product lifespan by over engineering it, providing a 5 year warranty, and put it at a price point that any other sub that can compete with its output costs nearly twice as much.

Not much to complain about...

These or the RSL 10E for $299? Klipsch is probably a better known brand but I got the impression most enthusiasts would prefer the RSL by a good margin.

Wow, thought it was a no brainer at $400, but this is the only option that should be considered in the $300-500 range unless you have a massive room. My only regret when building my system a few months ago is that I got the 12 inch version for $530 and have to keep the gain very low. The 10 inch would've been plenty and could've saved a ton of money.

This, by a wide margin.

You would need a pair of the 10Es to match the output of one of these. The Klipsch also has about a half an octave lower extension.

RSL makes very good subs for the price, but this is a significantly better value for $350.

Looks like a really good deal. All the reviews I'm seeing are positive. Just an Fyi Klipsch Subs come with a 5 year Warranty. I'm tempted, but I feel like this guy might take up too much space in my mid size room. This thing is much much Larger than RSL Subs. Something to take in consideration if your space is limited.

SPL-150 is way better performer, but amp is a ticking time bomb or you have to ALWAYS unplug it when not in use. Or purchase a smart switch to always check on it that it isnt left on. Kinda annoying, but its the best bang for the buck if you can deal with the amp issues

Ah I think I was thinking of the 10S MKII but that is $450. But yeah for the price this seems pretty unbeatable if you are primarily concerned with output and want to buy new.

Ah, dang. Got mine at $399. Does Adorama retro price match or are they going to do the return dance?

Trying to decide on this the 12,14,16 in the HE RP version. I have two brand new REL 12's DOA. Waited too long to take out of the box. Power on goes green to red instantly.
