I don't understand why a brad nailer needs to be so big and heavy. I have both the Ryobi one and later the Milwaukee M12. I use M12 most of the time until I need to shoot longer brad nails, then I use Ryobi. Ryobi tires my hand after 10 minutes. This thing is even bigger than Ryobi.

Yea, I almost bought this one last time it was being cleared out. It's enormous. I ended up with the Ryobi, and even that's pretty big, but not THIS big

An air-powered nailer is pretty simple: A piston to drive the nail and a trigger and solenoid to trip the piston. So, they can be light and relatively simple. When you go to a cordless version, you lose the hose, but you have to build the "compressor" onboard. There is a whole motor assembly that gets added to be able to drive nails. There is also a battery that adds considerable weight. But, have you lugged around your compressor lately? I'll still take the cordless.
