There's no way an in home driver is showing up with groceries that smell like weed. The in-home drivers are Walmart employees that go through an extensive background check and driving test. Regular delivery orders are delivered by a 3rd party called spark. They are independent contractors that Walmart doesn't have direct control over in the same way. In-home drivers have cameras inside their vehicles and they have to wear body cameras when entering a customer's house. You're not getting some random person entering your house.
I'm only speaking from the regular walmart plus delivery drivers that have shown up. I have never done in home delivery.

myQ is a garbage platform, got rid of mine when they killed api access. You are forced to watch video ads that must load in their shitty app before you can open or close your garage door.

The in home drivers are Wal-Mart employees and you don't have to tip them. It's worth the extra $30

I have static ads in the app at the top

Yeah the groceries always smell like skunk weed and the people delivering....it's just bad. Would never invite them in my home or my garage.

Apparently the InHome drivers are actually Walmart employees instead of independent contractors, which almost makes it seem like even Walmart is admitting to sketchy Spark drivers.

Does it have to be a specific seller? I can see some 3rd party sellers at much lower prices but code doesn't work with them.

Worth it not to have to tip, but they're just as unreliable as the contracted workers. Constant screwups for 5+ years here in Atlanta. And that's when they actually show up to deliver. I can't even count how many times they've no-showed at this point.

I personally use InHome service from Walmart. They don't deliver into my home but do place things in the garage, I have a fridge in the garage they place perishable items in.

Works out great for me, I don't get produce from there but the service works great and we've been using it weekly since COVID.

Wow, please actually let Walmart enter their homes to deliver groceries.
It's not the entire organization, it's just one employee.
