This was on sale at Lowes for $299 on Memorial Day. It was without the accessories. The foam gun and the floor cleaner are worth having IMO.

I have used it only once so far. Pretty standard for a pressure washer (I use one daily at work) but no complaints so far.

Shouldn't use high psi for cars (foam canon). It's abrasive psi and can damage the paint. However wondering if the pressure can be low dialed on these units? Meaning is there a dial selector to choose 600 psi or 100 psi?

Have electric pressure washers gotten to the point that they can reasonably handle all of the situations that gas models can? Or I am chasing a ghost waiting for a deal alert for the perfect electric pressure washer?

If you are not trying to strip paint with it, electric can do very well compared to gas. I've had the same Sunjoe washer for about 5 years and have done cars, driveways, washing the exterior of my house, cleaning grills, and if you accidentally hit your skin it will put a hole in you.

My sunjoe seems too weak to do my driveway anymore. i was thinking of upgrading. Dont know if this would do it or I should go to gas.

I will say my gas Westinghouse is obnoxiously loud. I feel bad for my neighbors when I run it.

I have this model and it replaced a gas Generac model of similar pressure. The flow rate for the electric is much lower at the rated pressure, so it does take more time to finish the same jobs. The pressure is there, so it does remove the same crud, it just takes longer. I only use it 2-3x a year so it's not a big deal for me and I'd make that trade again. If you use yours a lot, that extra time will add up and it might not be a good trade for you.

That said, Greenworks does have battery powered models with high flow rate and high pressure. I have not tried them, but I expect they would perform similarly to gas. The catch is they're expensive, and the batteries only run something like 20-30 min each, so you'll need at least 3 batteries to be able to rotate and charge them for longer jobs. Which is a long way to say, you'll spend 2-3x as much on the battery electric to get the same performance as gas. I would prefer that for performance, but IMHO the price/performance ratio isn't there yet.

Definitely do not use the high pressure nozzle to clean car if that's what your worried about damaging the paint. Use wide spray nozzle.

Electric doesn't come close to the power of gas
