These wax sprays are decent but a ceramic spray is infinitely better. Do yourself a favor and get this turtle wax ceramic spray. Use sparingly - you really need only a light spray on each panel. Creates a shine, protects and makes your paint slippery. It's truly incredible and goes on sale often for around $10:

Exactly. The newer ceramic products make all of these old tech products obsolete.

'Our Ceramic Spray Coating is designed to be your base layer and last up to 12 months! Wet Wax is your maintenance product that doesn't have as much durability as the Spray Coating and can be used after each wash.'

In response to your link. You linked 54309 but seem to have intended to link 53410.

Or for people to get the ceramic spray coating and maintain with this product for the slickdealers! Since it's a good price and can also be used on a wet car. Just adding clarity and a good recommendation by iTom.

Is regular wax useless then? In fact, if I recently waxed, can I even use this product?

There is always heavy marketing as in all things. Specifically there are definitely better quality products the pros use. I wouldn't expect a cheap ceramic product to have the same results as a robust more expensive product.
It seems using carnuba might attract more dirt faster than a pure ceramic coating and be counter productive with a quality product.

That being said talking about cheap products on slickdeals. These types of products you'll see being whipped out at car shows for decades now (handprints and dust) and Meguiars has always been consistent quality at a good price point. Where this type of product excels, is when you want to apply it after a wash to avoid water spotting and enhance gloss (door handles / tail lights dripping water are the common culprits!)

I bought both products since I'm running out of my clearance turtle wax spray wax I use to dry cars. The north is big on waxing for the winter to paint protect and really a good wax/ceramic is usually 2-3 times a year to apply with maintenance in between.

I wouldn't expect a ceramic spray for $12 to have the same results as a tiny bottle that costs >$40+. These are great maintenance products and you won't go wrong unless you're going all out with yearly professional level details!

These products are specifically marketed to be applied to a 'wet' or 'dry' car making a great quick way to finish up a car wash.

I use the Meguiar's ceramic spray wax and it really is incredible. It's around $15 but will last for years used on one car. Be sure to follow the directions to the letter. The 2nd time I used it (about 4 months after 1st application), I followed the directions for initial application and not subsequent application and wound up with a bunch of tiny beads of wax build up when it rained. At first I thought I ran thru some kind of tan colored puddle since it looked like something was splashed on my car. I drive a 2015 Accord and the ceramic wax makes it look new, really makes the metallic paint pop. I've been meaning to do a heavy clean with dish soap and then clay bar and reapply the wax but I've been lazy and spoiled with how easy the spray wax is. My car is in the garage all day every day so that makes a huge difference too.

No. I linked the right product that I use - the 53410. Based off number of reviews, it seems to be more popular than the wax spray you linked. Not sure what the difference is between the two.

I wouldn't say regular wax is useless but more tedious to apply than just a spray you literally just wipe off. I just clay bar my car and then apply the ceramic spray. It works great.

One is meant for dry use, the other is meant for use on a wet car. They are both fantastic and better than the Megs Quick Wax when it comes to durability. The key as everyone here I'm sure knows is regular washing. The best product isn't a forcefield and stuff like bird poop will eat through anything right down to bare metal. Regular washing and a spray wax, really any of them, will keep your paint like new almost indefinitely (color fade aside).

Ceramic spray waxes are better for longevity in protection, but there is one huge benefit of non-ceramic spray waxes: Ceramic spray waxes require several wipes to apply while normal spray waxes like this one require very few. Ceramic spray waxes take more than twice the time and energy to apply correctly.
