samsung s25 extremely overheating when charging overnight

This is the 2nd time.

I turned off s25 and charging it with samsung OEM charger overnight.

I saw the overheat icon. Then unplug it, but the s25 still not cooling down after 2 hours, until battery runs out.

Why was the problem? This is the 2nd time. BTW, I don't use super fast charging.

My s22 never had this problem

I'm no expert, but it seems to me that if these symptoms occur even when the device is off, it is likely to be a hardware issue. I would recommend contacting the company that sold you the phone. take care!

Try setting the battery to stop charging at 80 or 90% and do not turn it off while charging.

The S25 was only released four months ago if I'm not mistaken.

Surely it's under warranty. Just take it back and exchange it in my opinion. Sure it's a bit of a hassle but better than worrying if your phone is going to catch fire or last as long as it should...
