This is used to convert DC power, like power from a car battery for example, into pure sine wave AC power, like the power electronics expect from your home's wall outlet. Cheaper alternatives often don't output the pure sine wave AC that sensitive electronics require. This can be used to make your own larger battery power supply like those used while camping or in RVs (hence the brand name).

Inverter+Charger for a little more sounds like a better deal?
This is 1000W, that's 600W. Pure sine wave inverters go up in price quickly the higher the wattage.

You're right; that was the wrong link. Here's the 1kw + 55a charge for $180:

https://slickdeals.net/f/18369328-eco-worthy-55a-battery-charger-w-1000w-12v-120v-pure-sine-wave-inverter-180-free-shipping

I still stand by my argument of preferring the charger/inverter vs separate. Though I understand that having them separate means the ability to change out one part when it gives up instead of having to replace both.

Depends on your use.... this unit will support 1000w draw, surge to 2000w, but after it draws from your battery you will need a charger to charge it back up, no charging circuit. there are others like the vevor sump pump backup units.... they have inverter+charger AND this is important.... 10ms switching time from passthrough, the ecoworthy you linked to I THINK (not sure) is 20ms switchover. So, these units self maintain, will be pass through normally, but on grid loss, will switch over to battery in 10ms then when grid comes back up, will switch back to grid, then begin recharging battery.

Anyone pair this with a Bluetti or EcoFlow power station? Wondering if there's a clean way to integrate or if it's strictly 12V lead/LiFePO4.

If you are getting a combo inverter/charger device, you may want to also look for one that supports pass-through from solar to AC.
Reason is, your battery will not cycle during the day when you draw and get enough sun.

It's so easy to step up this inverter game.
It all depends on what you think you need.

Also solar to ac pass-through feature is not easily identifiable or at least I'm having hard time with the various brands/models.

not sure what a combi boiler is, but google shows it's a whole house water heater. Is it gas? if it's gas, the electric side is probably 120 and this should be able to run it. if its an electric boiler, no way ...

Amazon basics has one for $63. Why would I need pure sine wave anyway these days?

There's one on Walmart's website, claims to be a pure sine wave inverter for ~$23 shipped. It's a no name seller tho.

This will work with fridge, but not enough juice for microwave in an emergency. I would buy something around 2000w for emergency purpose. If you want something small and portable as phone charger or router power backup, Costco has Ecoflow River 3 plus on sale now for $220 with 2 phone batteries pack.
I use a 2000 w pure sine wave inverter to run a good portion of my house when the power goes out. It runs too small window air conditioners, my refrigerator ceiling fans, television and all the lights I want.

Since 1000W may be too light for some applications: the 2000W version is also on sale at Amazon [amazon.com] for $190.

Good for connecting to a Chevy Bolt for emergency backup power? (Only running either window AC or small gas furnace / maybe a few lights)

1000w probably not enough for an AC. Furnace or lights, yes.

Alot of newer appliances want a pure sine wave. Manly inverter/DC brushless fridges and furnaces. We have come full circle.

Its great for a Bolt. the Bolts inverter is only rated for 130A or 1600W. So with OPs unit, its rated for 1250 watts for 20 seconds, which is 95 amps.

Do keep in mine, we are talking BEEFY connections. 4awg as the min, and if you can get the 2awg crimped at the local car audio/ forklift place, id go for it.

Yeah that seems to be the case. A modern laptop charger would probably be fine on a regular inverter but maybe not a mini fridge long term.

I did some research as I may need an inverter soon for my RV, but best I can tell any relatively known brand that is PSW and can actually power 1000w continuous is $250+. So I doubt this product is high quality or any different than something you can find off ebay or Temu.
