This is incorrect- I own it. It has two DDR5 slots and two M.2 slots for drives. The case is a bit of a pain to open the first time due to a lot of snapon points, but it is fully upgradable.
I have one of these laptops and the RAM is definitely upgradeable. I upgraded mine to 64 GB.

Careful I will say from experience the 3050 laptop gpu is a joke, let alone that card. you're better off finding one with a 3060,3070,3080,4050,4060. You should find relatively good deals for any laptop with those gpu, it'll get way pricier when you look into a 4060.

Yeah, though there is a big difference between the 3050 4 GB and the 6 GB 3050 which is what that one has.

I got the $500 4050 HP Victus a year or so ago. It is non upgradable (only 1 ram and 1 ssd slot) so this may or may not apply since this seems like a relatively different build.

Mine gets pretty hot. HW monitor sees 90C regularly. I should probably repaste soon, but a cooling pad and bumping the settings down 1 notch in the Nividia app towards performance (instead of quality) seems to make it a little cooler. It has never been unstable or crashed. It seems more than happy to melt itself.

So weird, I literally cannot find this processor anywhere else... Like AMD's list of Ryzen 7 laptop chips doesn't include it, google just gives me results for a Dell 7445 model with a Ryzen (the laptop model is 7445 not the chip).

So maybe Bestbuy doesn't have the typo, maybe HP does?

seems to have slightly higher boost clocks over 7435hs based on specs, 200mhz higher, also it has an integrated radeon 740m igpu. the 7435hs lacks integrated graphics and is always paired with discrete graphics. doesn't quite line up with any existing cpus, the 7xx igpu is more in line with 8000 series, this is maybe a new chip/binning of an existing chip that is vendor specific and not a general product?

Sweet, that sounds like a better chip then. hate laptop processors without a IGPU for on battery running. Appreciate all the info.
