These are covered by the deal, and I tried it last time, and like the chewy brand just as much fancy feast gravy lovers, which has been my go to for years.
of course after holding out hoping this deal would come back before I ran out of some pet supplies I bit the bullet and re-ordered yesterday since we are getting ready to leave town for a few weeks. missed it by *that* much this time around. win some / lose some.

My order total is over $100 pre-tax and pre discounts
After discounts it drops to $85
Add tax it's up to $91
would this qualify or do I need to be over $100 after discounts?

You can't stack the Chewy discounts codes. This is just another option if you can't hit the $100

1. "Promotional credit will be automatically added to your account 30 days after shipment. At that time, you will receive an e-mail from Amazon that indicates the dollar amount of the promotional credit and that the dollar amount of the credit has been added to your customer account. The e-mail will also provide instructions on how to redeem the promotional credit." So you have to wait 30 days; with Chewy, the gift card is available online when your order arrives.
2. Amazon promotional credit has an expiration date. I don't think Chewy's gift card does.
