To reduce installation of games and other unwanted apps:
Set up without going on WiFi or inserting SIM card. Click on Skip for WiFi and Set up offline for the SIM card. Then Continue to set up offline.

Make sure autopay is turned on before calling they made me turn it back on. They did ask if number was ported i said yes and didn't care about keeping the number.
