Buying multiple phones?
Consider this.
The first phone will be 120.
Subsequent phones (either purchased at same time on withing next few days) will be less.
Boost has a weird way of billing and its often confusion. No one has figured it out yet.
Many have made speculations:

My first purchase cost me $125.90 in total then subsequently thereafter I purchased 2x more phones which came out to $94.84 each.
Since you bought the first phone at regular price, Boost treats any further purchases as an additional line since they're on the same account.
However, bear in mind Boost will automatically enable autopay again so be sure to disable it prior to your next billing cycle recurring.

To reduce installation of games and other unwanted apps:
Set up without going on WiFi or inserting SIM card. Click on Skip for WiFi and Set up offline for the SIM card. Then Continue to set up offline.
Go to the App manager, click to view system apps. Then disable App cloud, Mobile Applicatons Manager.
After that you can enable WiFi, isert SIM card, activate.

I'm with Visible. After I got the Android 15 update on the Stylus, it completely broke Wi-Fi Calling and Mobile Hotspot on my phone with Visible. That's on Motorola. The Edge+ too, lost Wi-Fi Calling after the Android 15 update, fortunately, Mobile Hotspot still works. I've already contacted Motorola. They're promising a fix next month.

Their network switching option is cool and their approach is well executed so it does slow down most everyday port out requests so you just have to get creative.

I got Visible with the Boost Motorola Edge+ 2023 and the wifi calling won't turn on as it say "Unable to activate wifi calling this time. Try again later.". I read that some branded Motorola phones that are unlocked later do have trouble with wifi calling on some certain carriers. It happens more often with Motorola than a brand like Samsung. I always kept my wifi calling off before though. The weird thing is that you said it worked with Android 14 though.

what MVNO/carriers are people using for this phone once they unlock? curious as to a good plan to pair this with as i'm totally unaware of the best phone plans available right now.
Mine's just wifi-only. I mainly got it for PS2 emulation. I unlocked it just in case.
