10/3/2025.
Reports are that boost may may changed their T & C.
(Around 10/1/2025 . maybe, not clear)
Requiring activating phone and using service for some time.
(3 months?).
Do your research.
However, may not matter much as phone appears to be gone for good from boost website.

You must activate the phone on boost network within 30 days of purchase.
If not you may be charged the full MSRP of the Device(s).
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
best practice=open the phone. activate the boost account. make a call or 2. send a text or 2
phone call &/or text just insures the phone number has been fully registered on the boost network
while not entirely necessary, just to be safe.
and not get a $600 bill or get sent to collections
[ which has happened to at least one user on this thread ]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
make sure u activate.
By checking this box I agree to e-transaction/e-signature, Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions. Once activated I authorize Boost Mobile to automatically charge my card monthly for my Boost Mobile services, taxes and surcharges. My service will not begin until my SIM is activated. If you do not activate your Device(s) on the Boost Mobile network within 30 days of purchase, you may be charged the full MSRP of the Device(s) (less your purchase price), if applicable, to the card used today or any alternative method. . I also agree to receive communications regarding this order via email, SMS, or phone call using the contact information provided

Buying multiple phones?
Consider this.
The first phone will be 120.
Subsequent phones (either purchased at same time on withing next few days) will be less.
Boost has a weird way of billing and its often confusion. No one has figured it out yet.
Many have made speculations:
For example. Below is from a user.
My first purchase cost me $125.90 in total then subsequently thereafter I purchased 2x more phones which came out to $94.84 each.
Since you bought the first phone at regular price, Boost treats any further purchases as an additional line since they're on the same account.
However, bear in mind Boost will automatically enable autopay again so be sure to disable it prior to your next billing cycle recurring.

Anyone else having this problem?
Edit: While on the phone with Tech Sppt I was getting a Moto software update notification, so I updated. THEN I got the settings notification to download the eSim and it worked. So I'm good to go now.

***** Yea. I don't mess around with any shady sites with odd streaming links and don't download any scam emails. I usually do change my phones like every 2 years but I could definitely see myself using this Motorola Edge+ 2023 for +3 years even when it should stop receiving updates. I had the Moto Z2 Force and that was my most enjoyable Motorola phone but this Motorola Edge+ 2023 clearly beats it out due to the improvements like larger screen (5.5" vs 6.67"), speakers, camera, etc.. I actually enjoy my Motorola G Stylus 2020, 2022 and 2025. The 2025 model is worthy of daily driver for me but isn't on par with the Edge+ 2023 if one values a great display and great speakers.
Gcam works on this phone. It will need a config file.
Yeah. Moto makes too many variants of the same thing.
check IMEI on sickw for motorola its free can see when it first shipped and possible first activation date.
im not in Plainfield
Ship To Country: US
Ship To City: Plainfield
Ship To Date: 2025-06-24 00:00:00
Recent Activation: Lack Activation Date
Activation Date: Not Activated
Warranty Start Date: 2025-06-24
Warranty End Date: 2026-09-21
I thought it odd that 1) the warranty was like 400+ days, and 2) the start date began like a month prior to me purchasing the phone.
Edit: This supports esim? that would be better no? Edit2 seems maybe boost mobile disables the esim or...something,
yes esim works but its hidden in settings i setup free 3GB esim from instabridge app to test it. Once scan ESim QR code or Activate through App it will appear under mobile network menu alone side the physical sim card
esim settings are unhidden when your phone has not been activated/setup with boost mobile yet.
once you activate, the esim setting disappears unless you factory reset

Happy the deal popped up again. Even after buying a telescoping controller, this Boost Edge+ 2023 is cheaper than the Odin 2. Being able to unlock it for $3 and use it as a backup phone is a nice bonus.
i'm planning to do this with my 2nd too. i will say, unfortunately phone+backbone will never feel as good as one solid handheld unit imo. and phones 20:9 aspect ratio isnt great for gaming.
but nice deal for 93 for the 2nd. on front page there is pixel 9 pro 128gb requires verizon activation for 599 lmao no compare.
i dont see a lot of difference between this and my daily driver one plus 12R. i could use this in it's stead with zero issue so far. the only thing i noticed is some chopiness on boot, since both phones are sd 8 gen 2, i wonder if it's to do with the only 8gb ram on this vs 16gb on my 12. or something else, but i'm assuming the latter. not a big deal. could also be moto bloatware i guess
