I have the 35XX H and it's a pretty solid unit, these were a little cheaper if you took the slow boat shipping pre-tarrif but these seem ok for todays pricing shipping in the states.

My SP just arrived today. Was a neat little device! I'm already doing a deep dive on tinkering - stock os vs custom, Game Room vs retroarch. Integer scaling vs noninteger + shading for gba/gbc/etc. lots to learn

One thing that bothers me: why is there always a baseline level of static coming from the speaker, and why does it scratch and intensify whenever a game is being loaded or unloaded? A cursory google search was inconclusive. Any advice?

I read same thing about all abernic devices, idk why something to do with speaker surging/power from idle state to loading.
