Is this compatible for the insta360 x4? I looked at their website and I think it is, but want to be sure.

It's a reminder of how dense flash memory actually is.

SanDisk is the First to Cram 4TB into a microSD and 8TB into an SD Card [petapixel.com]

Too bad the format faces so many problems.

Unfortunately not, Switch 2 needs an express SD card. It'll say express or EX on it specifically.

Said something like this to my wife last night. She doesn't know a gb from a tb. Did not care in the slightest, but could tell I was excited.

Crazy that a TB can be stored on something the size of my thumbnail.

I use these for the Steam Deck. Not terribly fast for transfers/downloads but never had any issues playing off of them.

Just checked and Amazon currently also has this on sale for the same price.

Edit: Amazon raised it back up, so not there anymore.

Crazy size and price technology. Time to port things to this and start tossing my old school big-ass hard drives from 10 years ago.

The disk drives might actually be better as they're harder to lose. I lost the microsd I took out of my old phone.

There's a new standard called MicroSD Express - the Switch 2 uses it.

Pales in comparison to onboard smart phone memory... they gutted the standard because the phone mfg are greedy and do not want a faster upradable memory card for phones even though the os is mature enough to support it. The business is too farking greedy to give the consumer what they want.
