My wife have this she usually pluck hair every 2 weeks, when first time used it she zapped it weekly for like 3 months, after 3 months she zapped again. Now its seem like every 7 to 8 months before using it , it's take about 5 mins for both armpits

Safe to use for delicate areas? Braun says it is, apparently.

If you have thick coarse hair don't expect this to do anything permanent. I went through session after session of real laser removal and only got like a 30% reduction. I bought this just for shits and giggles and was pleasantly surprised. It definitely extends the amount of time between shaves but as suspected, it doesn't reduce the total amount of hair at all. Given enough time it all eventually grows back but it takes longer and that's good enough for me.

I haven't been brave enough to try that area yet but there are different level settings. Did you try the lowest power level or just go right into it at the highest setting which your wife probably had it set to? Genuinely curious because I was considering trying it but was going to do so at the lowest setting and thought that would solve the issue.

Anyway can confirm on other parts that after a few times it just feels like nothing. No pain at all.

This gadget has a very doubtful performance. I've been using it for over a year with no hair reduction at all. Pale skin + dark hair is an ideal combo for the IPL and ironically zero results... The only thing this thing does is it forces me to shave at fixed intervals.... Do not recommend this at all...

It depends on your skin color. The darker your skin the more it hurts and the less effective it is. But in general, yes it works for private area.

If your expectations are reasonable, it's good. It'll make coarse hair notably thinner light colored. It's going to have a hard time completely removing hair, unless that hair is already really thin and light. But the results are still worth this price IMO.

not the lowest price ever - I paid $240 a few years back for almost the same kit. But compared to lasic, still waaaay cheaper. And, could possibly be done in preparation for lasic treatment, to reduce the number of expensive lasic treatments.

This will not work long term. It will not reduce hair growth. All it does is make the hair shrivel. It will not get the root. Light does not work

She have light skin. Use at lowest setting. Middle and high setting she felt the heat she doesn't like it. Just like other people said, darker skin need more power for laser to pentrate

Stop promotion things that don't work. This does not work. I used similar products and they did nothing.

You big baby. I've done it loads of times. It's fine, if you're a man.
