just went on this AM to try to buy it, they have removed the discount on standard edition, it is now back to regular price. But the deluxe edition is 50% off.

It appears to still be there for me. At least for Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred standard edition.

I'm not seeing the discounts for any of the versions anymore, though I'm not sure how they're tracking

Is it possible you already bought/own the standard edition and that's why the discount doesn't show up for you?
If you go to the link and are not logged into your account, you should see 5 purchase options (3 versions of Vessel of Hatred + 1 bundle + 1 Diablo IV).

I figured out the issue. I was at the PS store instead of Battle.net. I need the PS5 version instead. Otherwise, it's a good deal.

Not a bad deal for Vessel of Hatred. The bummer about having it on gamepass is if I just buy the DLC when I lose gamepass I need to buy the base game. I think I'll wait for a collection.

The Expansion bundle on sale for $42 includes the base game and the expansion.

Yeah, since i currently have the base game through gamepass and already put my time into the base game it feels like I'm paying $42 to experience the expansion.
I may get it eventually but I'm fine waiting a few years and getting the whole experience under $20. It's not like a Diablo 5 is coming out anytime soon to ruin that.
