It's got the latest tech WHVA panel which is supposed to help with viewing angles and a little better better dimming as well. It's probably not worth 1k more but it's the newest tech. Hopefully we see this go down to the 1200 price point next year. This deal I posted was a clear price glitch on amazons part after just uploading the tv to their platform. Right now it's fluctuated today between 2500-2700 so if you did get it at 2k it's probably the lowest this tv has sold for between major outlets
I'm gonna hold out for a deal on the 98" QM7K. I saw it in Best Buy and I'm sold. I buy TV's way too often and am thinking this time I should just get the biggest I can get, with the best price:performance ratio, and I just can't justify doing a 98" qm8k. There is an open box of the 98" QM7k available here for $2400 but I think we will see the price come down on it to $2299 by the end of the year, with open box being $2100 or less. Just my opinion
Good call. I feel like they are both great TVs and not much of a difference. 98 will be an excellent choice!
