You're calling it 'cheap junk' just from one picture? The stuff that looks better and costs more is usually just paying extra for ads, graphic design, and getting a good spot on the shelf.

In fairness, the UL-listed question is a fair one. Last I saw, they were still pending but I believe it was expected in a month or so.

I did some quick napkin math. This system's capacity is roughly one third of an average household's normal daily power consumption. If you are looking to go off-grid you'd need at least two to support a solar system.

From my own research for the same thing, the hybrid inverters that do support frequency shifting and AC coupling have a GEN input and not just AC in/out. This inverter does not have a GEN input so I think not.

I don't think this is UL rated, so in the very small chance this causes a fire (LFP batteries are very safe) or damage to your home, your insurance might deny your claim.
