So would this not start a car up if it's not cranking?

I'm confused, why is this not a "jump starter"? You use it to... jump start a car... so isn't that by definition a "jump starter"?

I'd call a quick charger to boost a low battery. It takes a few minutes to put juice into the vehicle battery, rather than using undersized cables to try to directly crank it over.

So just to clarify for everybody here, if it doesn't start your car immediately, leave it connected for a few mins and you should be good to go. For $40 well worth it

At $60, I was hesitant and I'm glad I waited. At $40 I'll give it a shot.

I think it's being discontinued and also probably has a lot of returns because it's not what most people expect from a "jump starter". I bet a lot of people tried it once and the car wouldn't start and they didn't wait for the battery to charge up a little bit before trying again. They expect connect wires turn key and drive away.... even it the battery is completely flat. 😄

Guess that means jumper cables aren't number cables.

Hmmm...I have one of those lithium battery pack "jump starters" (a Tacklife). Would this provide something that doesn't? I do have dewalt batteries.

That $30 Bella blender deal almost got me earlier. I'm giving slickdeals another chance

they both will do the exact same thing.

this is nice, if u have a few dewalt batteries in ur ride at all times.

those jump packs are great, but when you pull it out of the backseat and find out it has no juice, that kinda sucks.

I have owned a total of 4 different jump starters in multiple vehicles and never have I been left with a dead starter. If you're the kind of person who forgets it's there to charge it, then what's the difference between that and the Dewalt batteries?
For $40 you can buy an actual good quality jump starter that can start your car.
