Yeah people just don't read anymore.
I think the best deal is P1S combo at $699 and A1C at $479.
From my experience with many printers, Bedslingers are proven to be reliable...but enclosed printers are so nice with it being able to stack the ams on top.

Is the P1P compatible with the AMS Lite?
No. They only work for the A1 and A1mini.

I would personally say yes, but in all honesty, it depends on the situation.
Mine, for example, is outside in a garage. There is a little moisture in the area I use mine, so the filament drying feature is a big game changer.
In my experience with many different 3D Printers, Bambu Labs is the one company I hate the most lol.

Hate the most? How come?

Ugh tempted to get rid of my k1 max or k2plus and get this. Sick and tired of the fiddling around. I just want a consistent first player and to be able to print TPU without a damn headache!
Replace the extruder tension spring with a thumb screw on the k2, i just finished a 600g tpu print yesterday.

I used shims on that same idea, got a print done then it clogged. Not having issues with the CFS not feeding into the extruder but can print normally.

I've been considering moving on from the endless tinkering of me ender 3 pro and getting an a1. This might be the time.

Quick question: I spent quite some time building a nice ikea lack enclosure for the ender with LED lighting and such. Does anyone know if the A1 (not the mini) will still fit? I've seen a few lack builds and it does appear to be a tight fit, but I haven't seen any info if one built for the height of the ender 3 will fit the A1. I'd prefer not to have to cut new acrylic.

Be aware, there is a community backlash about Bambu's recent decision. With a lot of people deciding to boycott them. Search for: Orca and Bambu or their forum: https://forum.bambulab.com/t/orca...135872/565
Also many 3rd party controller/displays that are loosing functionality with recent updates.

The AMS Lite is used for the A1 and A1 Mini. The AMS is used for the P and X series (P1P, P1S, X1C). The AMS 2 Pro is the only one that works with all Bambu printers.

You probably only need the nozzle, which includes the heat break in these printers and makes up most of the hotend. It's easier to swap out the entire hotend. What they sell as a "complete hot end" also includes the fan, which you don't need unless you break it. Like by accidentally sticking a hex key in it while it's running when trying to remove the screws.
I think technically you need the hardened gears as well but the nozzle is probably the main thing that would mess up first.

Think the only decent deals here are the p1s base and combo and p1p. I already have a p1s though and just can't justify buying another one. I think I'm going to wait until Black Friday hoping for a nice deal on the h2d but might have to wait longer.

Hate the most? How come?
The Logistics side (Their warehouse), the support team, and the way the printers are made, I had nothing but issues with their customer service as well.
My Journey with Bambu Labs has been terrible. I will most likely be buying the Anycubic Korba S1 to replace my Bambu Labs P1S.
My first issue was orders.
One of my orders was missing a nozzle, which wasn't much, they said, let me check with our logistics team and see what happened... A few months go by no reply. I checked up on it they wouldn't replace the nozzle. I am like, seriously, it wasn't even in the polybag you shipped the parts in (Mind I tell you this was about $200 in spare parts for the machine and shipped in a cheap polybag). So I am out of all of that money for the nozzle fine, whatever.
So next issue is with a roll of their brand of GLOW FILAMENT. Well, the spool they use for the glow filament was smooth around the edges, which created all kinds of issues. It ruined the entire slot it was in the funnel, the rollers for the AMS, just about that entire slot needed to be replaced. I documented all of this and let them know about the issue. They then changed their website, saying that glow filament might ruin your AMS, and never replaced any of my parts when this was NOWHERE NEAR my fault. (They advertise a 3-Month Warranty on the AMS Funnel and were within that time frame to.)
So, at this time, I also have orders for other filaments from their website because there were some good deals, and well,l I wanted to only use Bambu Lab Brands. My shipment arrives box all destroyed taped up from UPS a few of the boxes of filament were crushed and the silica gel was punctured leaving that crap all over the filament again took pictures documented it send it to Bambu Labs I made sure I did everything I could they never replaced anything from that shipment hell they never filed a claim with UPS I am like seriously this is ridiculous. In addition to this, it took them, I believe, almost 2 months to even ship this order as well... When I say ship to even generate a UPS Label so this wasn't even on UPS, realistically I mean maybe a little bit of it, but just wow.... I asked for a prepaid label to return products because this was just getting out of hand they refused.
Clearly, Bambu Labs doesn't care about their customer base unless you are a YouTuber or Influencer. I went to the BBB. They have an F rating, and they don't even respond to the BBB. I am like, wow, why did I even dare to deal with this company!?! So in the end, with all of these issues and documents photos I had, I went to the credit card companies and filed disputes on everything I needed to This made Bambu Labs wake up fast and they were like oh if you drop the dispute,s we will try our best to fix the issues.... This is almost 6 months later when all of this is happening.... I am told them first off, I addressed all issues to your company, I followed up numerous times, I was more than polite to all of your customer service staff, and you had more than enough time to fix the issues. You can see I also reordered parts that were missing from the order! No resolution was ever made on Bambu Labs' behalf.
I left it up to the credit card companies to decide the outcome, was Discover siding with the merchant on the missing nozzle like wtf....
Citibank sided with me on the AMS Issues.
Capital One sided with me on the damage filament issues.
Chase sided with me on the missing parts.
Yes I used 4 different cards because I don't like my credit cards reporting over 30%....
Bambu Labs is a company I would not recommend to my worst enemy!
Sorry if this was a bit long I tried to shorten it the best I could.😅

Wow, that's crazy. I was thinking of getting the elegoo centauri but really want the AMS. And bambulab is supposed to be the gold standard of 3d printers. I'm so done with my ender 3. I'll document everything in case I need to do charge back with the credit card company. Thanks for letting us know your experience

Genuinely curious: whats the reason behind getting this over the CC?
The CC doesn't have a multi-filament system. They say they are working on one, but it remains to be seen. If you aren't interested in printing in multiple colors then this doesn't matter.

If you are printing in PLA and PETG then you don't need an enclosed printer. With the CC you'll end up having to print with the top off and the door open. There is a non-Carbon version of the Centauri that is not enclosed for $199, but that isn't being sold as yet.

The CC is backordered, so unless you get lucky and pick up one at Microcenter, you'll have a month or two of a wait.

Some accessories for the CC are backordered, like the standard hotend. If you need a replacement you'll be paying over the odds to buy from a scalper.

I own a CC, and considered the A1. If I had to do it again, I'd still buy the CC as I think it is more versatile and is yet to fully realize its potential. If I was running a print farm, I'd be sticking with Bambu for now.
