It's a decent deal but as has already mentioned it's been cheaper this year. I've not seen it as msrp for a long time either.... avg non-sale price is about 800. Great bass at 400 though.

I bought the black one on the prior $500 deal. Experienced guitar player, my first bass and I love the thing. Best purchase I've made in a while. It sounds great with all of the PJ flavors. Learning to play it through a NUX headphone amp is a frikin blast.

I'm loving the NUX mp-2 headphone amp. Can cycle though 7 preset amp/cab/effects, all setup in a really good app. If I'd do it again I'd get the mp-3 for more cabinet sims tho. If you want an amp amp get a rumble.

I got it in the prior sale when it was 499 and it is a killer bang for your buck. Neck is especially excellent. I'd love to add a pickguard to it just to be a little bit different, but I have had trouble finding anything that fits it!
