For comparison, the MSRP on the similar configuration but with 32GB of RAM was $1,700+ (admittedly unrealistic). Best Buy was clearancing this 32GB RAM configuration for $1440, and a few Microcenter stores which still have them are selling them for $1000.

Riverside IL location only have the display.
Probably a pass. Maybe 32gb would make it more tempting. 1tb SSD is kinda valueless in comparison.
By the way, the manufacturing date on mine is September 2024.
there's a few left

It's my 1st oled laptop and I will never ever go back to a non OLED screen again. I played Elden Ring in hdr mode and saw colors that I never experienced during my 1st play run on a older non oled monitor.
My desktop rig is also paid with a LG 39" OLED monitor.
But to say OLED is impractical on a laptop is far from true.

"oled color reproduction has to be experienced in person instead of watching youtube etc." - I mean, pretty much every iphone or samsung phone people buy in the US these days has an oled screen. It's not like this is something people haven't seen before. Yeah, oled looks nice, but majority of people won't mind having an ips panel on a laptop. Not a deal breaker.
Out of stock
I don't need a laptop right now, but if I did, I'd probably strongly consider this. Especially with 90 day returns.
