Several posts of people finding this today at this price or lower on reddit. Was a miss for me after finding a store that had it, but someone beat me to it. This is in store only since the online listing is no longer available. Price drop was 6/20 according to the tag. Item # 990353018 YMMV

When do we think C4 83" discounts will hit LG partner store or other retailer for sub $2k?

Display model 83C4 at the East Plano sam's was marked down to $1600 (as of 6/22). no remote and too much of a pain to plug in or I would have grabbed the hours and done a burn-in test.

Yes. I just purchased one. Some Sam's have it at $1,799, but they are the exception.

I just purchased a 83 for $1999 with 5 year warranty included. The only catch is that there is no shipping unfortunately since this deal is in-store only. Might have to rent a truck for pickup.
