I have the 700's and it's a great headset. The interesting thing is this comes with the full 1 year Turtle Beach warranty, not just the normal Woot 90 days.

Gen 2 does have that issue and have to be gentle with them. My two (black & white) sets are fine, as long as I don't yank them off my head or spike into the ground when I lose a game.

I tried these headsets and I loved them. They sound amazing, feel comfortable, and cool features. I had many issues with the software so I'm returning mine which is sad. Sometimes they would disconnect or cut off. I updated the firmware so not sure what's the issue. This price is great value though.

Are these good for PS5? I don't need anything fancy. I'm using my Bose QC 35 plugged into controller. They sound great, but not really spatial. Wondering if these TB would provide any benefit over my current setup.

No, definitely not. The only advantage to these would probably be the boom mic. Everything else is worse: sound quality, weight, clamping force, no ANC / aware mode. Also, everything Turtle Beach I've ever owned has felt cheap and not worked quite right.

Bought a set, my friends on Discord can't hear any difference in my voice compared to my Steelseries Arctis set. They feel great, don't get hot on my ears, and best part is after hours of use, my ears don't get sore. I did update firmware on the headset and dongle, no disconnect issues for me on the dangle, haven't tried Bluetooth yet. I bought a second pair for my son, as he tried mine and was impressed.
