Reading some of the comments, I get a sense that many don't know the best way to use a waist fan. I actually didn't either and used to assume that this was a silly device. But, once I learned the best way to use this, I like it a lot. I have one, and I bought another for my friend (a different model). What you want to do is, you clip it to your belt "under your shirt" and clip your shirt's skirt on the outer clip, which creates a dorm/balloon in a sense, then the fan creates a really nice breeze circulating inside your shirt, keeping your body cool. It feels quite nice actually.

I bought the 10k one for $15 that is also a flashlight and powerbank but I'm going to return it because it honestly didn't do much on the highest setting and feels a bit heavy and gets in the way when doing physical work.

Thanks for sharing. I was wondering how well that clip could hold on in a physical labor or running setting where you are moving around in different directions. I was just about to try the $10 version but read your review and will probably skip this one out. Thanks.

Better to go modular. Buy a reliable brand 5/10/20mAh battery pack and pair with a USB powered fan.
