Weird that this would get any traction as it's the same price it's been for the past month for Ryobi Days

My guess is returning the batteries and keeping the tool.

When you go to checkout they are two separate items. The tool is 96.94.
I tried on a desktop and on my phone (both via app and via the mobile site). In every case it shows just one package at $199. It does not split up the batteries and the nailer.

Is there a trick to getting them to be split up? Pretty sure I won't be able to return or cancel just the batteries if they are not split up in the order.

Edit - nevermind. Didn't realize you have to choose the free tool.

It splits the price between two, so if returned wouldn't I receive reduced price

So the hack works? I just pick it up, then return another day to return the battery and still get the cheaper nailer price?

Don't know what difference the HP version of this nailer makes. I have the regular "Airstrike" version of this one. Heavy as a mother trucker, but I did my entire 1700 sqft house's shoe moulding on like half a charge on a 4ah non-HP battery. Worked great and is built like a tank (I've dropped it several times).

Was the cancellation for the battery kit done online, call-in or in-store?

To answer my own question, I placed an order on both items and was able to cancel the battery kit part of the order immediately online.

This is the first Ryobi deal I've tried where a military discount doesn't stack for an additional 10% off.

It's been a great run, but it might be over.

Doesn't seem to be the case when you order it for delivery. You can only cancel the whole order on the website. No option to cancel individual items. Most items now seem to be unavailable in store for pickup as well.

Thanks! I bought the Kobalt air compressor with three air guns deal from last week but prefer this deal over lugging around a heavy compressor.
