Under Q&A, it states the dash cam has an internal battery for backup power. Be advised that in high heat areas, that battery will likely die out.
What "feature" should I be looking for in high heat areas?

I bought an adapter on Amazon that connects to the rear view mirror for power. It's a little box with a USB port to power the dash-cam.
can you link please?

How do you guys with dash cams hide away the wire connecting it to the charger? For me that was a problem... also the camera kept falling off. (Not this dash cam but similar one... looking to try again with this one so asking)
Search Chris fix on YouTube, he has videos on how to hide the wires for the dash cam.

Thoughts on this? 4.7 stars 710 reviews. Seems legit. Too bad it doesn't have rear cam
It does have a rear camera. I got one it looks petty well made. But I haven't installed it yet. I tried to buy a second one, but the code only worked once for each account.

Received mine and installed yesterday. Everything works great but the night vision is poor especially the rear camera.

Thanks for posting. Very much appreciated. Total newbie to dash cams but this seems like a good price to tinker and learn more about them. Have a great weekend. Take care.

Grabbed it and here are my first impressions - works well and has a large lens covering area, it uses USB C for power, the WiFi is just needed to manage the mobile app and to download media to your phone. Haven't tested it at night but noticed didn't do well when I turned off the lights in my garage, even though it claims to have night vision. Again for $40 is a no brainer to get started and getting to know what a dash cam brings.
The way night vision works is it amplifies the available light around you to produce a viewable night image for you to see. If your garage is pitch dark, obviously there's no lighting for it to amplify, which makes complete sense why it doesn't do well for ya.. The real test is under real driving conditions at night where there's other cars head lights, street lights, signs, buildings, stores, ect.. that have light emitting from it.
