They are not in the same class. I own all these brands. Without going into detail, you are better off with Eneloop, ladda or Fuji.
I'm pretty sure your deadbolt is rubbing somewhere. What lock brand. My rechargeable batteries in my Eufy and Schlage locks last about 9-12month.
I got some of these from costco 2 years ago. They don't hold a charge for very long in keypad locks. I might get 2-3 weeks with maybe 2x a day use.

I got them cheap enough on clearance that i have a extra set i keep charged so its in a rotation on the 2 locks i have so its not a huge deal.

Not that long I guess, isn't the voltage the same for pretty much all rechargeable aa?
You're mostly right. NiMH cells will start out at roughly the same voltage, however there are slight variances. As the cells age, the difference can become more pronounced. This can be significant because some devices dislike the lower voltage of NiMH batteries. In my testing, Eneloops (and their rebrands) generally maintain a slightly higher voltage.

For those interested, I believe these are $11.99 at Best Buy if you're a paid member.

The August is wifi/Bluetooth and normal batteries don't last very long either but they do last longer. This door is maybe 2x a day. Its on a detached shed that i only really open/lock if I'm leaving or over night so only about 2x a day.

The Kwikset is just a basic keypad lock no wifi/bluetooth. Same situation its on a back patio door that stays mostly open unless i leave / lock up at night. So about 2-3x a day. The Kwikset does rub a little bit.
Wifi/bluetooth hardware is always on, thats the problem and why those are never a good idea if they not a hard wired unit. I have a normal kwikset that was installed with a new door, normal batteries lasted over a year at 2-3x (un)locks / day.

I have another exact kwikset that was installed with a new door over a month ago with other LI recharable batteries that still work fine.

Do you have an august connect? Mine ate batteries until I tied it to a connect.
Energizers I have bought have all been made in Japan. I have had no issues.

I do. I was thinking maybe 1 of the batteries in the 4 is bad and making it trigger a low battery warning because of that? Not sure.

I'm guessing depends on the functions it has/use determines how long they last, ours has Bluetooth and if I use the WiFi it will reduce the battery faster.

I bought a pack of these about 3 years ago which were the Japan made ones and they are nearly as good as Eneloops. I'm not sure if these are still made in Japan.

Are these in the same class of rechargeables such as Eneloop or IKEA rechargeables?

Being Energizer, they have to be better than Amazon Basics rechargeables. Right? right? Those Amazon ones are horrible! (Which can serve a side purpose of giving away toys and gadgets with batteries already included; and not caring about losing them)

They are not quite as good as the others, but they are far better than the Amazon basic rechargeables i have.

These are closer to the true size of AA (IKEA/envelope/Panasonic) are a bit thicker and have trouble fitting in tighter battery compartments).

Whoever said they are not in the same class is not quite right. They are a very close second and even more useful in cases where my eneloops won't fit.

They are made in Japan and there is only one rechargeable factory in Japan the last I knew there is only one battery factory in Japan that makes rechargeables. They are obviously a slightly different build based on their size, but it a quality battery.

I agree, I have a ton of these and they are close enough to eneloop to not really notice or care, this is a good deal.

Are Ikea ladda batteries still made in Japan though? I remember them clearing them out like maybe 5 or 6 years ago and everyone was saying in that thread that they were getting rid of those to replace with cheaper Chinese batteries or something to that effect.
