An nvme's heatsinks might be too big, or its fins might flow the wrong direction. Might want to see if your laptop manufacturer makes a heatsink available

Watch out for the Phison E18 "read degradation" issue where read times on old data slow down over time. Only Kingston has released a fixed firmware AFAIK. I'd steer clear of any E18 drive unless you are sure.
