I used to thing people were exaggerating with statements like this, until after it happened to me.
If you have the storage to do so, make a recording of the trade in device showing the condition, and then go into the settings and show the IMEI for the device, and then kick off a factory reset on the recording and let it finish.
I did all of these things and thought there wouldnt be problems. Like 2 months later I get a email with no way to fight it saying I sent a device which wasnt factory reset and thus the trade in was null and void and I was on the hook for like $400 dollars. I reached out to Samsung and shared my video showing the trade in people were liars, and they eventually reversed the nonsense.
But had I not had that video, it would have been their word vs mine, and I would have been toast. Sneaky Sneak little trade in contractors. Be careful.
It would have to be a damn good or insane trade in for me to mess with Samsung trade ins again.

the trade in deals are getting worse and the value of upgrade for the cost is going down. not worth doing this on launch anymore
Much larger front and main screens, will be given the "Ultra" moniker/treatment, and will be very thin as well.
The different form factor is what ppl are most excited about imo.

The phone was free but only if i ride it out for another 2 years. I really miss the Samsung Gaming Hub that let me run games in auto while letting screen dim+lock and not pause it.

I would consider if the outside scrèen is like normal brick phone even if slightly smaller (not the very narrow form factor). And the camera has to be as good as S25 ultra. For that price , camera can't be worse than S2x Ultra. I get that it's hard to fit a sensor in a thin phone like that etc but that's what we pay the premium for. can't carry around a 2000$ phone that doesn't take the best of pics
Huh? You mean when you are trying to pick the option. I am positive they will when it comes to out

I personally went with Verizon and had pretty much zero hassle. Everything worked out from receiving the phone on time to paying it off at the store and getting credits for the bill. In fact, Verizon rep did something while crediting me and told me I'm owed $67 so I may get a check for that lol. We'll see.
