Just a couple of days ago it was $55. I ordered the blue pair and got it for $45. But it didn't come with the middle adapter, which just connects via usb rather than directly to the switch. Doesn't have any wireless features or battery - has to be connected to the switch to work. It's literally just a joystick with the buttons. So if you need bluetooth, or rumble, or gyro, or anything other than what you see in the pic, get something else.
With that said, I have the split pad pro and now the split pad compact. I fly often and I got the compact version so it fits in my bag easier. I only bring my personal bag, no carry ons. I love both controllers. Super ergonomic and comfortable. I gave my pro version to my 10-year-old and he was ecstatic. Pretty soon I'm gonna start playing Skyward Sword, which requires gyro, so I'm planning on ordering the mobapad joycons for that. I just didn't want to wait 2 weeks for it to come in the mail! Got the Hori on the 2 day ship before my next flight.

So if I understand the product, this is a 3rd-party set of joycons with slightly reduced features/functionality but which also includes an adapter for use as a wired controller?
