good deal. I have many of these drives in my server

$200 for a 14tb drive has been the "go-to" price for a while (from best buy usually) for a new drive.

Its says WD in the title.

I'm assuming you are talking about the 3.3v. It depends on your system.
In mine, yes, i needed to put tape over that pin.

you could also do the "staple mod" to your power supply sata power cable. I wish I'd learned about this superior method sooner instead of fooling with tape or hunting for special molex adapters that aren't fire hazards.

$13.57 per TB. About as good a deal as you're going to get. If I was starting a new array, I'd look into <20TB drives but this is a great deal for 14TB, or just a big old external drive.
