Every day you own the product, you gain some utility, which each of us values in a $ sense. I will gladly pay $2k to enjoy the TV over the next 2 years instead of waiting it to "drop to $1000". $1000 over 2 years is $1.50 per day...I'll get plenty of utility out of it at that cost.

Anyone recommend a good low profile wall mount for this? A little bit of tilt/swivel is ok just don't want it hanging too far off the wall

i got this one [amazon.com] from amazon for a few bucks on mac bid, its fixed to the wall so no tilt or swivel, but should be very close to the wall
my only concern is being able to reach behind the tv to install cable or something
im still deciding but am about to pull the trigger and order this beast lol
