These are garbage. I bought one and it just clogs up.

I had this. I use it on my window shutter and 10x12 hardie shed ... paint need to be thin and the tip need to be clean every 30-40 min . had it for 2 year. sold for 20$ few day ago.

Title is not accurate. The deal linked is for Quick Finish (not Quick Finish Max, which doesn't exist). The original price of $60 is not accurate. The FinishMax version (upgrade from the QuickFinish in the link) is $40 regular price.

Stain works best. You can use a latex paint but you need to thin it with water. Not sure about this kit but the Wagner comes with a little funnel that you thin and then time how long it takes to empty in order to get the right consistency.

When it works this type of sprayer is great. When it doesn't, it's a frustrating mess.

I have latex paint. So just add water and mix? What is the proportion mix of water vs paint?

don't ... this is made for THIN liquids, like transparent stain. even semi transparent will clog in this.
I've bought these for staining fences and just thrown them away after ... the tips are plastic and not worth cleaning Frown

No, these are for very thin liquids.

You want a higher quality one for poly and other more higher viscosity items. A decent one will cost a lot more than this.
