I had this. I use it on my window shutter and 10x12 hardie shed ... paint need to be thin and the tip need to be clean every 30-40 min . had it for 2 year. sold for 20$ few day ago.

This one has one tip… you need one with 3-5 tips and they should,d be brass not plastic like this one. With that set up you'll be able to thin the paint and pick a tip that sprays well. (Also adding hardener if doing enamels helps)

Issue is probably what I ran into: the paint/stain often has to be thinned. The more you thin, the more easily it will run (unless you are shooting a flat surface). I ended up getting a Graco when I had a large, vertical surface to spray.

I bought the finish max in 2018 (not this deal) and after several abuse it still continues to work. I have left it out in the rain and left it with paint in the canister for few months few times. I had to clean it afterwards but it's still my go to paint gun for cabinets. Would not recommend it for any large projects though.

I have had mine for about 5 years and never had a problem with it. Thin it out and keep it clean
