FYI, check out all of your various available grocery stores for whether or not they jack up prices. Most of mine do, but Food Lion has "in-store prices" on DoorDash and Instacart

No pay it by item, distance, bag etc. Don't just blindly tip 10% or 15%. The Internet will have you believing to tip 20% blindly on everything which is ridiculous and makes it worse for all of us. If I get a couple prime ribs worth $50 for a grocery store 5 to 10 mins away, better believe I'm tipping $5 max and prob less

Looks like this deal is only available for delivery. I skimmed through the terms and it says not valid for pickup.

Nothing. Tipping only subsidizes sub standard wages for gig workers. Doordash/instacart/etc will all raise base pay each minute/hour that the job is not accepted. Force them to pay the wages that are fair to employees and charge us the appropriate fee for their service. All you're doing when you tip in this case is subsidizing a multi billion dollar corporation. The CEO and CFO say thank you for helping pay the wages of their gig employees while they laugh about guilting you into it during board room meetings and on vacation at fancy pants inclusive resorts. Ayn Rand warned you of this: moral authority is a tool of control. Be very wary of anyone attempting to wield it, they seek power over you.
Ayn Rand may have a point there, but she still sucks. As does libertarianism.

They've indoctrinated you well.

I'd much rather pay a fee for a service/product that lets employees receive a fair wage. Don't put the onus of fair pay upon me as a customer, it is the responsibility of the employer.
But the drivers currently do not earn a fair wage if they aren't tipped. So you should tip, if you genuinely care about them earning a fair wage. Or are you just trying to justify your behavior of not tipping?

I mean I understand where you're coming from but shorting the tipped worker isn't going to send a message to the CEO and CFO.

Refusing to tip for delivery under the guise of pushing for fair wages isn't activism. It's just being cheap.

Got 8 full sized ribeye steaks about 1.25 lbs per steak from Wegmans delivered Using 50% off coupon and Wegmans was having another 40% off ribeye steaks stacked together for $68 delivered. Not bad since the price hikes. Use to get them a bit cheaper but I will take it.

Nobody seems to mention that one of the biggest advocates for tipping are the employees themselves. They make way more from tipping than what they would get with a normal wage. There's been many restaurants for example that moved to a regular salary and didn't offer tipping. Servers left for jobs that tipped.

Target is one of the stores listed on https://www.doordash.com/p/grocery-delivery
Does anyone know if only groceries from Target qualify for that promo or does everything from Target qualify?
I am sure the list depends on the location. I see a lot more stores than just Target - Aldi's, Shop-rite, Stop and Shop etc.
