Quote from Taskaholic :
The task wall has changed:

Jobs are now structured differently. You will earn credit for every assignment that you complete rather than for every 10 assignments CrowdFlower has implemented several important changes based on your feedback:
  • Earnings — You can earn payouts in smaller, more exact increments than before. This eliminates long work periods with no earnings payout, and it means you get paid for each task you do. Tasks typically take less than 5 minutes to complete.
  • Savings — You have a "piggy bank" that will persistently store your earnings. You can stop working or change jobs whenever you want without losing what you earned!
  • Visibility — You can track your earnings progress and your running accuracy score.
  • Bonuses — You are now eligible for bonus payouts! Doing good work on certain jobs will lead to bonus payouts.
We are confident these changes will increase your enjoyment and earnings. Please use the in-Job "Send Feedback" feature if you would like to comment on these changes.

You now have to earn a minimum of 20 SB to get credited.
There is more explanation in today's 3pm PDT blog (the same one that has the 5SB code until 4pm PDT today) titled "Tasks Have Changed":
http://blog.swagbucks.com/2011/09/tasks-have-changed.html

What do you think of the changes, Taskaholic? I think I might like these changes. It looks like they've broken down the tasks into smaller pieces, so you get credit for each correct page, without having to wait until the end of several pages and without the risk of not getting any credit at all if the Task glitches or wrongly disqualifies you near the end. And the payout minimum of 20sb seems easily reached and not too high (not like the 100sb payout minimum for SB Trivia).

Awe, I forgot about trivia, RIP.

It seems OK. I'm just worried about who is storing our points though. If there is some reset or something, I hope that our points don't disappear. We will still have the same change of DQing because the % carries over if I understand that correctly.

All in all, I thank it's a good thing because it you get tired you can just stop. There's a limit to how many pages you can do and I am guessing it will be the same as if the task had 10 pages per task as before.

I did the "Choose the Best Search Results (Better Pay!)", which was 40SB last night; it's 4 now. I had 5 pages, 8-10 per page, which supposedly would pay 20SB. I do not trust the folks at Crowdflower at all, with all their constant "errors submitting your data" and "restarting servers". So I expect that in the many ways that they already use to cheat, those points will "somehow" get lost. Not for me. The change isn't there at CBF, yet.

has anyone play the money mover by Server? Answer a question correctly and win $10 and also participate for lucky draw. They said it is powered by American Express. However, I have to open account to get the money deposit for future use. Sounds too good to be true but give away the personal information.

Is it worthwhile and not being scammed or hacked? Thanks

I know nothing about this company, so personally I wouldn't risk it, but maybe someone else here has actually dealt with them.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

I've not seen/done this on SB, but did manage to get $10 free by playing the money mover by Serve (note that it's "Serve" & not "Server" Wink) when this thread popped up here a little while ago. It is indeed powered by AmEx, & is their (pretty feeble) attempt at competing w/PayPal. HTH!

I got 900 sb for joining Big Fish games and downloading one of their games , it was only $3.50 . So for people like me who just put their SB's towards amazon cards its basically pay $3.50 and get a fun game and a $10 amazon card . Not bad. The link for the deal showed up after I used the search engine a few times. They say you have to download a $5 game but they knock an extra $1.50 by giving you a free month in their gamer club thing , and just cancel membership before the month ends. Sb showed up in my account within an hour. Use promo code New50 when checking out.

For anybody who doesn't know, the above post is referring to the Serve offer on the RadiumOne scroller, which used to be worth 27sb but is now worth 95sb. It has a picture of a hand holding a cellphone from which cash is sprouting and it's titled "Play a game and sign up for a free account."

A couple weeks ago, I remember seeing a post on the Swag Bucks Facebook wall from someone saying they received the $10 in their account a couple days after they did the Radium One Serve offer. They said the same thing you did about Serve being connected to American Express which made them feel it was worth trying. But personally, I did not do this offer, so I can't confirm from my own experience. Just passing on what I heard. If you decide to do it, please let us know what happens! Smilie
