I'm really close to a lot of stores, and since I physically go to check out a lot of the electronic stuff in person before I buy from Amazon, once I'm at the store, I might as well buy from them not Amazon if the price is going to be the same. I bought a 4 in one printer/ scanner/ fax/ copier from Amazon that I did check out at Office Max first, and I don't like it, but returning it would be a PIA, so I kept it. I would have preferred to have purchased it locally for the same price because it would have been simple to return, but not having to pay sales tax and having GCs is the reason I bought from Amazon. In the future, I'll get PP GCs instead of Amazon.
I agree on this. it would be much easy to buy things from local store. I am also close to lots of stores. I used to buy electronic stuff from Amazon and have to pay sales tax. I know it probably not much for some people. but for me it is. it is PIA to have to return stuff when something goes wrong and most of the stuff either is defective or broke. ever since then I stop shopping there.

Then you get a list of magazines. You have to choose almost every magazine on the list, but don't choose every single one. They are always grouped by topic. I'm fine when they're women's fashion magazines, women's health, decorating, etc., but if it's men's sports or men's magazines, I don't even bother. Don't click on a title if you don't at least recognize it. I sometimes wonder if they don't throw in a phony name or two to catch us out.

A lot of people who are poor is because they do stupid things. I am sorry but I have talked / interacted with a lot of poor people from all over and a lot of them aren't the brightest lightblubs.
I don't see how giving them more money is really going to help them much. The money should be really be reinvested into schools so that kids from poor families can break the cycle of stupidity.
We should have the best / funnest / interesting schools in the planet. We should have a place where kids don't want to leave.
