I bought the physical cart a few years back for my Switch 1. It ran well enough, but it's definitely not the smoothest and sharpest experience. I haven't yet played it on my Switch 2, but videos show it's running much smoother on the Switch 2. I don't believe there have been any updates specific to the Switch 2, so it must be the extra processing power helping to keep it locked at 30fps for the majority of the time.
Finished this on Switch back in 2018. Definitely a playable port. Not the prettiest version, but definitely a worthwhile pickup if you want portability and aren't picky about 60 FPS and the best visuals.
I beat this on the switch, plays well, not the highest graphics of other consoles it's on but totally playable and fun. Probably even faster loading on switch 2.
this seems like a really good deal. I wonder why it's not getting more thumbs up
It is a really good deal, but maybe it's just fatigue. This game literally goes on sale every month, and it has been posted here a dozen times. It was $7.99 in January/February, then $5.99 in March and April. This is a new historical low from what I can tell.

Yeah, there is probably some component of fatigue to it as it frequently goes on a big discount. This is the second time at this price, was the same about a month ago. Great deal for a great game though.

Frankly I am not sure why the Switch version got so much hate (unless people just like to complain), I played 2016 on the Switch and Eternal on the Steam Deck, obviously the SD played Eternal better, with better graphics but both experiences were similar, especially considering the smaller screens.
