I bought the pair off ebay when they hit $99 each. They are decent, but you definitely won't be happy with one for outdoor use. And because my primary "portables" are the Klipsch Nine Mclarens + Jackery 500 power station, the xxls really only get used for when I am adding karaoke to the mix. The nines Mclarens are by far the cleanest sounding Bluetooth speakers I've tested, and I even keep a cheap Klipsch sub with it. Both on full blast stay under 200 watts because of the class d amplifiers.

These XXLs were $250 each at launch and based on what I understand, there were massive amounts of returns because of the fact one was not sufficient for outdoor parties
